• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new and existing patients to understand their needs and form individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups focused on topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and mental health education, fostering a supportive community environment.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, integrating medication management with therapeutic support.
• Provide crisis intervention services, responding promptly to mental health emergencies, and ensuring patient safety.
• Educate clients and families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and community resources available to support their journey toward wellness.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring quality control and compliance.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including attending training sessions and workshops to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Willow Counseling Center, you will engage with a diverse population of clients from various backgrounds and life experiences. Our patient demographic includes individuals seeking support for both acute mental health crises and long-term therapeutic needs, with a particular emphasis on addressing social determinants of mental health that impact our community.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatments, along with the ability to implement them effectively.
• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing tailored treatment strategies to meet client needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with standard office software applications.
• A commitment to ethical practices and professional standards, with an aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.

• Previous experience delivering therapy in a clinical setting, especially in outpatient care.
• Familiarity with group therapy facilitation and psychoeducational programming.
• Experience working with underserved populations and an understanding of cultural competence in mental health treatment.
