Mechanical Estimator

Location: Remote
Pay: $50–$55 per hour
Full-Time

Project Type: Mission-Critical/ Data Center Construction


Put Your Mechanical Estimating Expertise to Work

Are you an experienced Mechanical Estimator who knows how to turn drawings, specifications and project scope into accurate, competitive estimates?

This is an opportunity to bring your estimating expertise to mission-critical and data center construction projects while working remotely. You’ll play a key role in developing project budgets and bids, evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing, identifying value opportunities and helping projects move successfully from estimating into execution.


What You Will Do

· Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for HVAC, piping and plumbing scopes

· Review drawings, specifications and bid documents to determine project scope

· Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analyses

· Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing

· Identify value engineering opportunities and scope clarifications

· Develop conceptual budgets and hard-bid estimates

· Support project handoff and maintain estimating databases


What You Bring

· 5+ years of mechanical estimating experience

· Mechanical contractor background required

· Experience estimating commercial, industrial or mission-critical projects

· Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems

· Experience with estimating software such as Trimble, QuoteSoft, FastPIPE or similar preferred
