We are seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support software application systems that meet business needs and align with organizational technology standards. This role works closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, technical leads, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality application solutions.

This role may align to one or more technical areas depending on team needs, including front-end, back-end, full-stack, middleware, integration, cloud, or artificial intelligence/machine learning application development.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, hands-on software engineer who can balance new development, enhancements, technical analysis, deployments, and production support while delivering high-quality solutions in a structured SDLC environment.

Our offices are located in Mt Laurel, NJ and Bala Cynwyd, PA. This role can be done in-office, hybrid or fully remote from anywhere in the continental US.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and/or participate in requirements analysis, technical design, configuration, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of software applications.
  • Translate business, functional, and technical requirements into application specifications and working solutions.
  • Develop, code, configure, and maintain software applications, queries, reports, database structures, APIs, integrations, or related components as needed.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support activities.
  • Support QA, UAT, deployments, release planning, incident management, and Level 3 operational support.
  • Follow SDLC, source control, change management, release management, coding, documentation, and quality assurance standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, technical leads, subject matter experts, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Estimate work, prioritize fixes and enhancements, communicate technical recommendations, and help improve application performance and reliability.

What We're Looking For:

  • Hands-on software engineering experience across the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with application development, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Strong coding, debugging, troubleshooting, code review, and unit testing skills.
  • Familiarity with SDLC documentation, source control, change management, release processes, and quality standards.
  • Experience working with databases, queries, reporting, APIs, integrations, microservices, automated builds, or continuous integration is helpful.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, ownership, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Compensation: $100-115k/yr
