Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and build cloud-native micro services using Spring Boot, deployed on AWS EKS (Kubernetes) with full containerization (Docker)
  • Develop and optimize event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka/MSK for high-throughput, low-latency data processing
  • Implement scalable data solutions using MongoDB and OpenSearch, ensuring efficient indexing, querying, and retrieval of large healthcare datasets
  • Lead MDM (Master Data Management) and provider data integration initiatives, ensuring accurate identity entities
  • Drive end-to-end system performance optimization, including database tuning, API efficiency, and distributed transaction handling
  • Build and maintain robust integration and automated testing frameworks across microservices (API, event, and contract testing)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best-practice API standards, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD automation
  • Support production stability through observability, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution in distributed systems

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems and microservices
  • 4 years of experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude (or similar) to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging workflows
  • 2 years of experience in healthcare domain, specifically Provider Data / MDM systems
  • 2 years of experience with AI builders / AI-driven platforms to enhance engineering productivity, and automation
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with:
    • Spring Boot / Java-based microservices, Kafka / event streaming platforms
    • AWS cloud services (EKS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
    • MongoDB (NoSQL) and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
    • Docker and Kubernetes (container orchestration)
  • 1 years of experience with FHIR or healthcare interoperability standards

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
