SUMMARY:
The Full Stack Engineer is a hands-on software developer responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting fintech applications for XedaLink. This role works across a predominantly C#/.NET Framework environment, with some .NET Core, ASP.NET Web Forms, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL Server, and Azure. The Full Stack Engineer partners with senior engineers, the Development Manager, product, QA, and other engineering team members to deliver reliable application changes, resolve defects, and support continuous improvement of business-critical systems.
This is a full-time, remote/work-from-home opportunity with a starting base salary of $100,000 - $120,000 annually; salary is commensurate with experience. The normal operating hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, maintain, and support full-stack application features using C#, .NET Framework, some .NET Core, ASP.NET Web Forms, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQL Server.
  • Translate business requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical guidance into reliable application changes and well-structured code.
  • Create and update SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database changes under review from senior engineers or the Development Manager.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve assigned QA and Production defects when reproduction details and appropriate access are available.
  • Participate in code reviews, incorporate feedback, and contribute to maintainable code quality across onshore and offshore development work.
  • Support release readiness, deployment validation, and environment updates under guidance from senior engineers or the Development Manager.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, senior engineers, and team members to clarify requirements, identify risks, and document technical changes as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • High-School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent experience/training.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, with hands-on experience in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and web application development.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to ask clarifying questions and provide clear development updates.
  • Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET Web Forms, and related web application development; exposure to .NET Core preferred.
  • Experience building or maintaining front-end functionality using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, data analysis, and database change support.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues, analyze defects, and work with QA and senior engineers to identify root cause and resolution.
  • Exposure to Azure cloud environments and CI/CD or deployment tools such as Azure Devops, Terraform, or Terragrunt preferred.
  • Working knowledge of source control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, documentation, and release management practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on maintainable solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Agile development practices and collaboration with product, QA, and engineering teams.
  • Self-motivated, organized, collaborative, and comfortable learning legacy systems and specialized application workflows.
  • Experience with financial services, mortgage, credit, tax transcript, document routing, or similar regulated business systems is a plus.
  • Experience supporting production or business-critical applications is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new tools, frameworks, and domain workflows as business and technology needs evolve.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Traditional office environment with low-to-moderate office noise (computers, phones and business conversations). The position may be remote from main offices.
  • May require flexibility in hours.
