We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team in Valhalla, New York and contribute to the continued development of a modern enterprise resource planning platform. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to build reliable application features, improve integration capabilities, and support clients through well-crafted technical solutions. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on coding in C# and .NET while also exploring practical ways to use AI tools to improve daily productivity and development quality.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle by partnering closely with design and quality assurance teams to deliver dependable application enhancements.
• Build, validate, and release new features and components for the company’s ERP platform using C# and related Microsoft technologies.
• Strengthen existing web-based applications by creating scalable functionality that gives users more flexible self-service integration options.
• Design and implement connections with external systems and third-party services using common web service and API standards.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve code issues to maintain application performance, stability, and usability.
• Develop a strong understanding of product behavior, business needs, and functional expectations in order to produce effective technical solutions.
• Engage with clients when needed to clarify requirements, address technical questions, and provide application support.
• Apply AI-enabled tools where appropriate to streamline development tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance day-to-day problem solving.• At least 3 years of software development experience working with Visual Studio, C#, JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server, and .NET-based technologies.
• Practical experience building applications with .NET, ASP.NET, and the .NET Framework in a business software environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or enterprise business applications and the ability to develop within complex functional workflows.
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal form.
• A college degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience with front-end and reporting tools such as Kendo UI, jQuery, or Telerik Report Writer is considered an advantage.
• Exposure to web services, third-party API integrations, and related application connectivity patterns is highly desirable.
• Comfort using AI tools to work more efficiently and improve development output is a strong plus.
