Developer 4, Systems Software wanted by Merastar Insurance Company in Richardson, TX. 40 hrs./wk. Duties include: Provide tech.

support for apps & system software technologies. Develop, document & execute unit test cases. Resolve complex tech.

issues with apps & processes. Recommend test plans for impacted areas & end-to-end test coverage. Recommend improvements to processes.

Ensure quality reviews of app. software designs. Lead projects across tech.

disciplines. Develop tech. knowledge & skills of IS projects teams.

Support proof-of-concept activities for new technologies. Guide teams on solutions for resolving frequently occurring production problems. Lead team in phase gates for projects.

Remote working/telecommuting benefits. Hybrid schedule. Company remote policy allows an annual 65 days of remote work.

MIN. REQ.: Bach. degree, or foreign equiv., in Info.

Tech. or related field plus 5 yrs exp. in job offered.

SPECIAL SKILLS: 5 yrs exp in: providing tech. leadership on large/complex app. installation, development & support projects; program design methods, techniques & standard development tools; use of new frameworks, tools, languages & making recommendations in apps such as JAVA, Spring, SpringBoot, Angular, REST, Tomcat, AWS, PostgreSQL, GIT, JIRA, Eclipse, Jenkins; identifying improvement areas in architecture & integration & design; teaching & providing instruction to co-workers & providing feedback on progress toward goals; cloud development practices; various project methodologies (agile & waterfall); translating business to tech.
