About the job

The Foundations Orchestration team is looking for a Software Developer to advance our streaming data orchestration framework. Our team uses cutting-edge architectures and languages to create world-class software that is essential to our Fraud & Financial Crimes solutions.

As a Software Developer, you will:   

โ€ข Contribute to designs for new tools, systems, and frameworks
โ€ข Build an application that processes streaming data orchestration flows that power real-time decisioning solutions
โ€ข Participate in project scoping and tracking using the Agile methodology in a continuous delivery environment
โ€ข Work with usability and accessibility analysts and technical writers to meet corporate, product, and market requirements
โ€ข Mentor junior team members
โ€ข Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS. 
โ€ข Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organizationโ€™s secure software development goals.

Required qualifications 

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Five or more years of experience in software development
  • Two or more years of experience with Golang
  • Knowledge of REST standards
  • Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environment
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
