Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to thoroughly understand their mental health background and current challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and goals.
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all interactions and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage empathetically with clients, providing appropriate support and guidance in their therapeutic journey.
- Collaborate with medical providers and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care solutions.
- Facilitate single-session therapy or multi-session brief models, as required, to promote effective and timely interventions.
In this role, you will primarily work with adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and chronic illness-related concerns. Your dedication to individualized care will play a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being of these clients as you guide them through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Qualifications- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
- Candidates must possess a valid state license (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD) to practice independently without supervision.
- Strong ethical standards and adherence to all mental health practice regulations.
- Demonstrated cultural competence and the ability to engage diverse populations thoughtfully and respectfully.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, accompanied by a natural ability to empathize with clients.
- At least two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred.
