This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility to connect with clients and support their needs from the comfort of your space. While the detox center is based in Pembroke Pines, Florida, the remote structure promotes a balanced work-life dynamic. The role requires consistent communication with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, psychologists, and addiction specialists, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each client’s care. Regular team meetings and collaborative strategy sessions will keep you engaged and aligned with our organizational goals.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' psychosocial needs, understanding their emotional, mental, and social circumstances.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, tailored to meet each person’s specific goals and aspirations.
• Provide counseling services that support clients through transitions such as detoxification, recovery phases, and reintegration into daily life.
• Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring they have access to necessary community resources and social services.
• Engage in regular home visits (when necessary) to monitor clients' progress, assess living conditions, and ensure a safe environment.
• Facilitate communication among family members, addressing any conflicts that may arise regarding the client’s care.
• Educate clients and their families about available resources, such as support groups and community services that enhance social connectivity and recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, care plans, interactions, and client progress in accordance with ethical standards and compliance regulations.
• Stay informed on social work best practices and relevant developments in mental health and substance use policies.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification and those seeking support for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will engage with seniors who may face additional challenges such as chronic health conditions or isolation. Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to understanding the unique struggles faced by each client are crucial in fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes healing and recovery.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical social work capacity, particularly within settings focusing on substance use recovery or geriatric services.
• Comprehensive understanding of psychosocial dynamics, aging-related issues, and community health resources.
• Exceptional assessment and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with diverse clients and families.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
• Ability to navigate complex situations with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and effectively coordinating care.
• Additional training or certifications in substance use disorders or elder care.
• History of working in community-focused organizations or nonprofits.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
