Holistic Recovery Counselling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time, remote position. This role offers an attractive annual salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals navigating mental health challenges, employing a recovery-oriented framework to facilitate improvement in their overall emotional and social well-being.

Our community health clinic excels in delivering individualized care, including both individual and group therapy, as well as thorough substance abuse assessments and evidence-based treatment options. Our programs are rooted in a recovery-oriented philosophy, designed to alleviate mental health symptoms while restoring holistic health and fostering meaningful social connections.

Work Environment

As a fully remote position, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team comprised of psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for structured, predictable work hours while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities

The LCSW will undertake a variety of crucial duties, including but not limited to:

  • Engaging regularly with fellow healthcare providers and physicians to report patient progress, articulate needs, address concerns, and proactively strategize around potential challenges.
  • Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation, including comprehensive progress notes, aligned with departmental policies to ensure seamless patient care and compliance.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to craft and revise personalized treatment plans, including discharge strategies, grounded in thorough psychosocial assessments and accepted social work methodologies.
  • Providing insightful counseling and proactive crisis intervention for patients, which includes the assessment and management of behavioral and emotional difficulties.
  • Establishing and cultivating relationships with local community resources, advocating for patient needs at meetings and within committees focused on social support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population experiencing a spectrum of mental health challenges. The LCSW will work with individuals requiring tailored interventions for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other psychosocial stressors. A strong focus on culturally competent care is essential to address the unique backgrounds and needs of our clients in Lancaster and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, with current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting is required to ensure informed and effective patient care.
  • A current Associate or Licensed status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (or in the process of attainment).
  • Demonstrates strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail in both documentation and patient care methodologies.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to initiating actions relevant to billing hours, patient documentation, and ensuring timely communication with team members.
Preferred Experience
