Remote Social Media Analyst
Kelly Professional and Industrial is looking for aย Remote Social Media Analyst for Yum! Brands. Looking for a flexible, data-driven candidate to join their Issues Management & Crisis Response Center of Excellence team as a weekend Social Listening Analyst. This role supports 24/7 brand reputation protection for Yum! and our brands โ€“ KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Habit Burger & Grill โ€“ by monitoring, analyzing and reporting potential brand-damaging issues to our teams around the globe.

Job Details:

  • Proactively identify, analyze, monitor and report potential brand risks and macro-level issues to impacted teams
  • Monitor global media and social channels to detect reputational threats
  • Must have access to a personal laptop and reliable internet connection while working to perform job responsibilities
  • Partner with global teams to ensure timely and thorough media landscape reporting
  • Leverage social listening tools and analytics to interpret trends and measure impact
  • Produce at least 2+ detailed reports per monitoring shift ย 
  • Support the Yum! Brandsโ€™ Corporate Communications team with ad-hoc proactive or reputational monitoring projects, as needed
  • Remote work shifts โ€“ must be highly responsive and able to work overnight and early morning shifts on the weekend based on global coverage needs. Standard shifts:
    • 7PM-3AM EST
    • 3AM-11AM EST
    • 11AM-7PM EST
  • Approximately 48 hours per month, typically structured as three weekends on and one weekend off (~16 hours per working weekend)
  • $17/HR
  • Long term temp position
  • Remote positionย (EST or CST preferred)

Candidate Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. (Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Online Journalism, New Media, or related field) preferred. A junior or senior student working toward a Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree will be considered based on experience
  • 1-2 yearsย of experience with social listening tools (Brandwatch, Meltwater, Quid, Talkwalker, etc.) or other digital analytics experience; prior social listening experience is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to respond with aย sense of urgency
  • English fluency required; fluency in another language a plus
