Position Overview

Together & Strong Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team full-time. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to impact the lives of children and families, providing essential support and interventions in a detox center setting.

Work Environment

This full-time position allows for a remote work arrangement, providing flexibility while still engaging closely with our detox center operations. Your role will be integral to a collaborative team, dedicated to delivering high-quality care, while complying with state and federal regulations in a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children and families to identify strengths and areas for growth.
  • Involve yourself actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that they meet the unique needs of the children you serve.
  • Monitor and evaluate outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team, using evidence-based practices to inform treatment plans.
  • Support families by providing essential information, skills training, and emotional support to enhance their child's development.
  • Create a safe and engaging learning environment that builds rapport with children and families, encouraging their active participation in the therapeutic process.
  • Utilize the coaching model and natural environment teaching strategies to facilitate development in various life skills.
  • Adhere to all safety standards to ensure the health and wellbeing of the children and families served.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus primarily on infants and toddlers, including those with disabilities or developmental delays. Our children typically require support in areas such as physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills, particularly within their formative first three years of life. This role involves interacting with families in both remote settings and at our detox center, developing therapeutic alliances that promote positive developmental outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any community-based visits.
  • Demonstrated capability in adapting communication styles to suit various learning preferences and developmental needs.
  • Commitment to following Natural Learning Environment Practices in all interventions and support strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, allowing for the efficient handling of caseload responsibilities.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings is strongly preferred.
