SUMMARY: MetroNational is modernizing its data and analytics capabilities to foster a data-driven culture. We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization & Analytics Engineer to join our data management team. This role plays a key part in delivering MetroNational's analytics experience by translating data into clear, intuitive, and actionable visual solutions. The role combines strong data understanding with a focus on visualization, dashboard design, and web-based analytics delivery. Working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and product partners, this position is responsible for building dashboards, interactive applications, and data-driven experiences that make insights accessible and useful across the organization. The ideal candidate brings both analytical rigor and a strong eye for visual design, with a focus on creating solutions that are easy to use, tell a clear story, and support better decision-making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and ย ย ย ย ย interactive analytics applications that communicate insights clearly and ย ย ย ย ย effectively across corporate and property groups.
  • Translate business questions and data ย ย ย ย ย patterns into intuitive visualizations and user-friendly analytics ย ย ย ย ย experiences.
  • Develop and maintain web-based analytics ย ย ย ย ย solutions, including embedded dashboards, lightweight applications, and ย ย ย ย ย visualization components.
  • Partner with the Application Development ย ย ย ย ย team to ensure data is structured and exposed in a way that supports ย ย ย ย ย effective visualization and use.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in ย ย ย ย ย data and present findings through clear and effective data storytelling.
  • Establish and promote standards for ย ย ย ย ย dashboard design, usability, and visual consistency across analytics ย ย ย ย ย solutions.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to iterate ย ย ย ย ย on solutions and improve adoption, ensuring analytics tools are useful and ย ย ย ย ย easy to use.
  • Integrate AI-enabled capabilities into ย ย ย ย ย dashboards and analytics applications, exploring ways to surface insights ย ย ย ย ย and improve decision-making through AI.
  • Support ongoing enhancements, performance ย ย ย ย ย improvements, and usability updates across existing dashboards and ย ย ย ย ย analytics applications.


SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:ย

Requirements

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree, advance degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering within complex organizations.
  • Experience in Real Estate and Property Management industry is a plus.
