This is a contingent position based upon contract win.

SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a SOC Analyst IV to join our team supporting the Department of Education's (DoED) Federal Student Aid (FSA) Cybersecurity and Privacy Support Services (CPSS) in Washington, DC.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides Tier III support for SIEM alert triage, forensic analysis, and escalation.
  • Maintains situational awareness of SOC tools and telemetry.
  • Leads shift handovers and contributes to SOP/playbook updates.
  • Supports Red Team and Purple Team exercises.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of SOC experience.
  • At least an active Secret clearance.
  • At least one of these certifications: GCIH, GCIA, CEH, Security+.
  • Experience with SIEM, and endpoint telemetry.
  • Experience with operating systems, networking and AWS native capabilities.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000
