Job description

Job Location: Remote, but must be based in Pacific or Mountain Standard Time Zones within close proximity to a major airport
Travel: Approximately 50% to active job sites across the Livewell portfolio

Summary / Objective:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and construction of Livewell Animal Hospital facilities from inception to completion. This role works exclusively on building out new and existing Livewell locations, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of high-quality facilities. The Construction Project Manager will coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all Livewell projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Role Specific Tasks:

  • Oversee and direct construction projects exclusively for Livewell Animal Hospital facilities, from conception to completion, for numerous projects of varying sizes across the Livewell portfolio
  • Drive adherence to and continuous execution of established project management processes across internal teams
  • Coordinate communication and execution with all internal teams (operations, marketing, accounting, etc.)
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Manage project budgets and timelines across up to 10 concurrent hospital build-outs; typical individual project budgets range from $1,000,000-2,000,000
  • Coordinate and direct architects, general contractors and vendors
  • Review work progress on daily basis
  • Prepare internal reports pertaining to job status

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of experience in construction management
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, Monday.com, or Workday)
  • Strong strategic and long-range planning ability
  • Leadership management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field a plus
