Job Summary: Account Managers assume responsibility for multiple sales accounts and perform duties such as managing campaigns, identifying business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and taking part in client meetings. Account Managers are responsible for selling Metron’s hardware, services, and software to new and existing and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize growth by expanding sales of solutions and services in your territory.
  • Grow sales volume within the territory by developing leads, building relationships, and successfully ushering clients through the buying process using marketing data to identify and respond to incoming requests for quotation, guide cold calling efforts, and representing our Company at events in your territory and beyond.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive lead generation and management.
  • Maintain an effective sales pipeline using Salesforce Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
  • Be alert to competitive products and practices, keeping management informed of market conditions and trends.
  • Prepare and assist with sales reports, including bids, proposals, quotes and sales forecasts.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing or related degree (or 4 years equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years in sales or customer service
  • Demonstrated experience handling escalations and complex customer-impacting issues.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with ticketing and CRM systems such as Zendesk and Salesforce

  • Location: Louisville, CO or Remote, United States. Regional travel, as needed.
  • Employment Type: Full-time, 40+ hours a week
  • Shift: Typical daytime hours; may vary based on travel and project needs

Salary and Benefits

  • Base Salary or Range: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 base, plus commissions
  • Summary of Benefits: Competitive package including Medical, Dental, and Vision plans; 401(k) with company match; and Paid Time Off (PTO)
