What is remote slot machine sales?

Remote slot machine sales refer to the process of selling slot machines and related gaming equipment to casinos, gaming venues, or private buyers through online or remote communication methods, rather than in-person visits. Sales representatives work from a remote location, utilizing digital tools such as video calls, emails, and online presentations to showcase products, answer client questions, and negotiate deals. This role often requires a strong understanding of gaming regulations, market trends, and technical specifications of slot machines. It allows companies to reach a broader client base while providing flexibility for sales professionals.

How does a remote slot machine sales professional typically collaborate with casino clients and internal teams?

As a remote slot machine sales professional, you'll frequently communicate with casino clients through video calls, emails, and virtual demos to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. Collaboration with internal teams—such as product specialists, technical support, and logistics—is essential to ensure smooth delivery, installation, and after-sales support. Building strong relationships remotely requires excellent communication skills, responsiveness, and proactive follow-up to maintain client satisfaction and close deals. Expect to coordinate across time zones and use CRM tools to track interactions and progress.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote slot machine sales representative, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Slot Machine Sales Representative, you need strong sales acumen, knowledge of gaming regulations, and experience in B2B sales, often supported by a degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM platforms, virtual presentation tools, and inventory management systems is typically required. Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and self-motivation are critical soft skills in this remote environment. These abilities drive successful client acquisition, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster long-term partnerships in a competitive gaming industry.

Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic, commercially driven Territory Sales Engineer to lead direct sales efforts across a key regional territory.  Operating in a high-visibility, field-focused role, you will bypass third-party dealer networks to prospect, present, and close capital equipment deals directly with business owners, plant directors, and operations managers. This position is ideal for a proactive sales professional who excels on the road, enjoys visiting shop floors, and thrives on building long-term, high-value client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outreach and cold entry strategies into manufacturing facilities to discover new capital investment projects.
  • Own the entire sales process from initial contact and shop floor assessments to tailored technical proposals, ROI calculations, closing, and account growth.
  • Travel regularly within the territory to evaluate client production bottlenecks and demonstrate equipment value directly to key decision-makers.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline using modern sales tools while balancing travel, prospecting, and active deal negotiations.
  • Work closely with internal engineering, applications, and support teams to deliver a smooth customer experience.
  • Represent the brand at regional trade events and industry gatherings.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience in direct B2B outside sales, ideally selling capital equipment, industrial machinery, or technical systems.
  • Strong comfort level conducting direct business development, including walk-ins and site visits to manufacturing facilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn complex product lines, technical specifications, and value-based selling strategies.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the credibility to present effectively to both plant personnel and executive leadership.
  • Self-motivated with the discipline to manage a travel schedule, cover a large territory, and work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and readiness for frequent regional travel (typically 3+ days on the road per week).

Preferred Experience

  • Background selling industrial laser systems, automated cutting equipment, or metal fabrication machinery.
  • Existing familiarity with industrial job shops or sheet metal and plate fabricators.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Target Earnings: $250,000+ total compensation
  • Base Salary: $100,000 – $110,000
  • Vehicle & Travel: Company vehicle program or allowance, plus full reimbursement for business expenses.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive health coverage and 401(k) eligibility starting Day 1.

Location & Travel

  • Territory: Regional territory covering major industrial markets across the central US.
  • Home Base: Remote / Field-Based
