Job description
- Deliver exceptional care centered around the core pillars of lifestyle change management (nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep, behavioral change) and rooted in evidence-based counseling
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including fellow registered dietitians, licensed nurses, LCSWs, medical assistants and gastroenterologists
- Support patients with both synchronous and asynchronous care, utilizing the core tenets of motivational interviewing to enhance behavioral change
- Adhere to clinical protocols and evidence-based practice guidelines
- RD/RDN, Multiple state licensure a plus
- 2+ years experience as a an RD/RDN
- Working knowledge of nutritional approaches for GI conditions (IBS, IBD, SIBO) a plus
- Bilingual (spanish speaking) a plus
- Experience communicating with patients asynchronously preferred
- Passion for working with clients to facilitate behavior change by helping them set health goals to effectively manage chronic disease.
- Demonstrates a willingness to go above and beyond normal responsibilities to provide the best care possible
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
