Job Description

The Sitecore Engineer works to develop customizations and websites on the Sitecore CMS platform and contributes to the maintenance of the Sitecore CMS platform. The Sitecore Engineer is also aware of Sitecore feature roadmaps and understands how to navigate support processes and developer groups to gain insight and influence future direction. 

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Develop overall product planning by contributing to/creating stories for complex features in areas of responsibility, including guiding the story development for other team members who may be learning 
  • Organize, lead and finalize feature review sessions for complex business issues/requirements and document resulting decisions; provide coaching to newer team members on their features and delivery 
  • Create the functional design, leveraging moderate technical skills, to address complex business processes or issues or to address the requirements of a set of product features 
  • Configure or develop within the Sitecore CMS; review and verify operation of new vendor release features. Leverage Sitecore defect resolution procedures and support tools to resolve issues. 
  • Engage in pair-programming and Test-Driven Development full time to develop websites based on the Sitecore CMS utilizing Sitecore Experience Accelerator for Headless sites.  
  • Provide training for other team members and users; assist in developing team bench strength 
  •  Use knowledge of integrated requirements to evaluate proposed software products in line with strategic corporate and vendor direction 
  •  Support the planning, conduct, and review of module and integration testing for all but the most complex projects 
  •  Manage the issues and blockers for assigned features and product stories 
  •  In partnership with the business groups and technical teams, provide knowledge and support for resolving technology issues in multiple areas of the business; acknowledged as a subject matter expert in multiple processes and applications 

Essential Skills

  • 5 or more years of experience developing and maintaining customizations and websites on the Sitecore CMS platform (Required) 
  • 1 or more years of experience developing and maintaining customizations and websites utilizing Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) for Headless Sites on Sitecore 10.x (Preferred) 
  • 1 or more years of experience developing and maintaining React-based clients for Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) for Headless Sites on Sitecore 10.x (Preferred)

  • This role does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 98,100.00 - 167,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
