Legacy Healing Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to accurately identify their social, emotional, and environmental challenges, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.
• Develop individualized service plans that detail clear, measurable goals and monitor progress consistently to adapt interventions as necessary.
• Provide compassionate counseling and support to individuals and families facing various life challenges, with a focus on mental health and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate closely with clients to establish personalized service plans, connecting them with essential community resources and services that can aid in their recovery and stability.
• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies, perform risk assessments, and create safety plans to help clients through acute challenges.
• Network with community agencies and organizations, working collaboratively to coordinate services and advocate on behalf of clients.
• Engage in outreach activities to raise awareness about our services and promote our agency within the community.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing staff training to continually enhance skills and contribute to team objectives.

The clients served by Legacy Healing Center include individuals facing significant life transitions due to health issues, end-of-life concerns, and other socio-economic challenges. Your role will involve direct work with these vulnerable populations, where empathy, understanding, and specialized interventions are crucial for effective engagement and support.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong grasp of social and economic justice issues, knowledge of community resources, and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including strong cultural competence and problem-solving skills, to connect with diverse client populations.

• Previous experience in a social service agency or hospice setting is highly preferred, providing a foundation for understanding the unique challenges faced by clients in these environments.
• Experience employing evidence-based practices in counseling, case management, or crisis intervention will enhance your suitability for this position.
