Medallion Mental Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Senior Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative team. This full-time, remote position allows for the flexibility of providing high-quality mental health therapy to clients in an outpatient setting. This role is fully remote, allowing you to connect with clients without the constraints of an office setting. Utilizing our Simple Practice platform, therapists will conduct virtual appointments, maintain secure communications, and seamlessly manage their caseload from anywhere. Our digital tools ensure that you can focus on client-care rather than administrative burdens, allowing for a higher quality of service delivery.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments in a virtual setting to evaluate clients’ mental health needs.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized treatment plans following designated therapeutic approaches.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies to provide effective counseling sessions and interventions for clients.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of sessions and client progress within the Simple Practice platform.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance therapeutic techniques and maintain licensure.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and support groups designed to foster collaboration and enhance treatment outcomes.

Our patient population includes a diverse range of clients including teens, adults, and couples facing various mental health challenges. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related conditions, among others. Your expertise will guide clients towards personal growth, emotional resilience, and improved mental wellness.

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
• Valid licensure as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is required.
• Proficient in treatment planning and mental health counseling techniques.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective virtual client interactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients in a remote setting.

• Minimum of two years of experience in a counseling or psychotherapy role.
• Experience providing therapy in remote or telehealth environments is highly desirable.
• Background in working with diverse populations and in various therapeutic modalities.
