• Conduct virtual counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families, leveraging secure video conferencing platforms to ensure client privacy and comfort.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ unique mental health challenges and develop tailored treatment plans that include specific, measurable goals.
• Utilize evidence-based counseling methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and other therapeutic modalities, during sessions to effectively address clients' issues.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention, developing safety plans and employing de-escalation techniques to protect client welfare.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Educate clients on mental health conditions and coping strategies, providing them with the tools necessary to navigate their personal challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external resources, facilitating referrals as needed to enhance clients' support networks.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in the field of mental health counseling.

• A current license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida or equivalent.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of proven experience in mental health counseling, with a preference for those who have worked in remote settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital tools that enhance client counseling experiences.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical practices in all interactions.
• Ability to work autonomously while also thriving within a collaborative remote environment.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
