Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while maintaining a flexible schedule that suits your lifestyle. You can choose to work full-time—ideally over 30 hours per week—or part-time, with a minimum requirement of five hours weekly. Our user-friendly counseling platform facilitates seamless video sessions, ensuring consistent and effective support for your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ethical and compassionate mental health counseling via secure video chat sessions.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to understand clients' needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Empower clients by teaching coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and effective communication techniques.
• Continuously monitor progress and adjust therapeutic interventions to meet evolving client needs.
• Maintain compliance with all professional standards, ethical guidelines, and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will predominantly be working with stable, low-acuity adults who seek support for various mental health challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may be experiencing issues such as anxiety, mild depression, or stress. Your role is crucial in guiding them through their journeys toward improved mental health, using evidence-based practices tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must hold a current, independent state license such as LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Demonstrated capability to practice independently without the need for supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to utilize technology effectively in a clinical setting.
• A stable internet connection to ensure seamless video counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing telehealth services or virtual counseling is an advantage.
• Familiarity with culturally informed therapeutic practices is preferred.
• Previous experience counseling clients with low-acuity mental health challenges.
