Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring ethical and compassionate interaction.
• Perform ongoing assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans aimed at their specific challenges.
• Empower clients to cultivate effective coping strategies, problem-solving abilities, and enhanced communication skills, thus improving their overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records with minimal paperwork, allowing you to focus more on client care and less on administrative tasks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on stable, low-acuity adult clients seeking support for various mental health challenges. Your therapeutic approach will help clients manage their conditions effectively, thereby contributing positively to their life quality and emotional health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Independent licensure, allowing you to practice without supervision, is essential.
• Experience with digital communication tools and a stable Wi-Fi connection to facilitate remote counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with low-acuity adults in a clinical or counseling setting is advantageous.
