We offer flexible scheduling and generous compensation, ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus of $3,000.

This remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients through a secure video chat platform. Your day-to-day duties as a licensed mental health therapist will include:

• Providing individual counseling sessions via secure video conferencing to work on mental health improvement strategies.
• Encouraging clients to express their emotions and experiences, facilitating self-insight and emotional growth.
• Serving as an advocate for clients, helping them set and achieve personal and therapeutic goals.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health status and developing comprehensive treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Utilizing innovative problem-solving techniques derived from your clinical experience to assist clients in navigating their challenges.

Our clients include a diverse array of individuals experiencing various mental health conditions, from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues and relationship difficulties. We serve adults residing primarily in Ventura, California, and beyond, catering to those seeking a supportive and understanding environment for their mental health journeys.

To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Possess a valid and unrestricted license to practice in your state, specifically as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. Note that we cannot accept provisional licenses, and candidates must absence any disciplinary actions against their license.
• Have strong clinical and diagnostic skills as well as the ability to independently manage a caseload.
• Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor when working with clients.

Preferred candidates will have:

• Demonstrated experience in effectively managing their own caseload while utilizing therapeutic interventions in various scenarios.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and a solid understanding of maintaining client confidentiality.
• Additional certifications or licenses in multiple states, which is a significant advantage.
• A proven track record of taking proactive steps in treatment planning and execution, tailored to individual client needs.
