• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ needs, abilities, and behaviors utilizing various methodologies, including interviews and direct observation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans by integrating psychosocial, medical, and therapeutic data to recommend appropriate interventions such as therapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention.
• Set both short-term and long-term therapeutic objectives by continuously evaluating patient progress and adapting treatment strategies accordingly.
• Encourage open dialogue with patients, allowing them to explore their feelings and behaviors in a supportive environment.
• Implement a variety of treatment modalities tailored for mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and coping with chronic pain.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of all clinical services, from initial evaluations through discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Consult with other professionals within the organization to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Stay informed about legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring adherence to them and completing necessary continuing education to maintain licensure.
• Promote a safe and clean work environment by following required procedures and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission of Savas Health.

You will primarily serve a diverse clientele consisting of individuals and families who experience various mental health challenges. This range may include those dealing with anxiety, depression, end-of-life issues, addiction, and interpersonal conflicts. Your role will be vital in helping these clients navigate their difficulties, empowering them with coping strategies and therapeutic support tailored to their unique circumstances.

• A valid California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A minimum of three years of relevant counseling experience, demonstrating competence in therapeutic practices.
• Strong computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage client documentation and reports efficiently.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with a broader patient demographic.

• Experience in a community health setting is highly desirable, as it equips you with a unique understanding of the diverse needs of our patient population.
• Skills in telehealth platforms may be advantageous due to the remote nature of this position.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary teams, demonstrating a collaborative approach to patient care.
