This position is designed to allow for flexibility, enabling therapists to work remotely while also providing the option to see clients in our newly designed outpatient office in Springfield, Illinois. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wellness Social Attend Corporation, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address varying issues.
  • Creating personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each family member.
  • Engaging in therapeutic interventions for a variety of challenges including, but not limited to, alcohol and substance abuse, grief, family conflicts, and communication difficulties.
  • Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families to enhance understanding and improve coping strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely client records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population, including couples, children, and adolescents navigating difficulties related to:

  • Alcohol abuse and dependency
  • Physical and psychological abuse
  • Grief and loss
  • Familial conflicts and sibling rivalries
  • Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce
  • Communication barriers
  • Blended family dynamics and remarriage

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must hold the following qualifications:
