Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting compassionate and ethical individual counseling sessions via video conferencing, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Employing solution-focused therapy methodologies to tailor your approach to the individual needs of each client.
• Developing personalized and clinically appropriate treatment plans that align with the goals and progress of your clients.
• Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Assisting clients in gaining insights into their emotions and relationships, empowering them to develop effective coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving stable, low-acuity adults facing a range of mental health challenges. This population includes individuals seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and adjustment difficulties. By providing individualized care, you'll contribute to their overall well-being and enhance their capacity to navigate life’s challenges effectively.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A valid and unrestricted license to practice independently as either a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with a supportive and empathetic demeanor.
• Proficiency in using technology for remote counseling and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Prior experience in providing telehealth services or remote counseling.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of mental health issues.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly those designed for mental health services.
