New U Mental and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote telehealth team. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide support and guidance to individuals in need of mental health services from the comfort of your own home. You will receive unlimited administrative and technological support, allowing you to focus solely on providing quality care to your clients without the burden of extensive paperwork or marketing responsibilities.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat to help clients improve their mental health and tackle personal challenges.
• Guide clients in articulating their emotions and life experiences, fostering greater self-awareness and understanding of their relationships.
• Act as an advocate for clients, helping them define clear and achievable goals as part of their therapeutic journey.
• Perform assessments of clients' mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans that utilize solution-focused methodologies, drawing on your clinical expertise.

You will be working with a diverse range of clients who are stable adults with low-acuity mental health needs. Each client is thoroughly screened before booking your services, ensuring that you provide care within your area of expertise. Additionally, clients are matched based on their demographics and specific challenges, creating a meaningful connection and improving treatment effectiveness.

• A master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must hold a current and valid license to practice independently without supervision, including but not limited to: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Computer literacy is essential, as you will be utilizing a specialized therapy platform to manage client interactions and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature are critical to building rapport and trust with clients.

While we welcome applicants with various backgrounds, experience in telehealth counseling or working with adult populations will be considered an asset.
