This position is completely remote, allowing for maximum flexibility while maintaining a strong commitment to our clients’ needs. As part of a community health clinic, you will provide outpatient services, conducting sessions through telehealth formats. Our administrators handle scheduling, billing, and paperwork, allowing you to focus solely on client care.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to tailor personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to offer effective treatment.
• Provide individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions, adapting your methodology to suit varying client requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless integration of care for clients, including working alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation following ethical and legal standards to promote accountability and transparency in treatment.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health practices through professional development workshops and training.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Our community health clinic serves a broad demographic, allowing you to develop and utilize a wide range of therapeutic skills to meet clients’ distinct needs.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois is essential.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertinent to the practice of counseling.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients from various backgrounds.
• A proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to enhance client care outcomes.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other technology platforms used for clinical documentation.

• Specialization or experience in specific therapeutic arenas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in community health settings and familiarity with outpatient services will be advantageous.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
