Job description

Job Title: Tech 2, Field Service - MMS - GCS - Med Dispensing Field
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 12+ Months
Open to candidates across US
- Need contingent workers for remediation on MedBank and Pyxis devices for 9-18 months

- Mondays and Fridays would be typical travel days but there will be instances where the technicians would also remediate devices on Monday/Friday if they have a short travel day
- Schedule is between 8-10 hour days depending on location. There may also be some needs to work off hours to get into OR Suites when procedures aren't taking place.
- Heavy travel position, will be assigned to locations closest to worker location as much as possible
Responsibilities:
- Perform needed updates on MedBank products as required
- Track and maintain administrative requirements and data as required by BD
- Accurately document time worked on each product and submit on-time
- Book travel in BD travel booking tool (BD will pay for air, hotel, rental car)
Skills:
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Basic computers skills required
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to work in nursing home and hospitals day in and out
- Lifting requirements - Ability to lift 70-pound objects from the floor to chest level
- Hand-powered tools - Ability to operate powered drills, powered screw drivers and other powered tools
- Manual tool manipulation - Ability to turn manual sockets, crescent wrenches and screw drivers repeatedly over the course of an eight to 10-hour day
- Ability to sit, kneel, squat, bend, and stand repeatedly in an eight to 10-hour period to assemble and repair instrument suites
- Ability to push and pull heavy objects (on casters)
- Ability to perform fine motor tasks while reaching over the course of an eight to 10-hour day
- Ability to carry a 40-pound pack on your back or shoulder for up to one hour
- Ability to drive distances of up to six hours in adverse weather conditions
- May be required to wear a respirator while servicing equipment, thus must be able to pass a fit test and medical evaluation
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally
