• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify the emotional and psychological needs of patients, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual evaluations.
• Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention, effectively managing crises and collaborating with patients to explore their challenges and develop coping strategies.
• Facilitate therapy groups and workshops focused on personal development, stress management, and coping mechanisms, fostering an engaging and supportive group dynamic.
• Collaborate closely with medical professionals and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care, enhancing communication across departments for coordinated treatment efforts.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse clientele at the community health clinic, including individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds, age groups, and cultural contexts. • Current state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is highly preferred, reflecting advanced expertise.
