Shift 1 (United States of America)

In this Stockroom and Shipping Associate-Floater opportunity, you will support daily warehouse and logistics operations by helping manage inventory, prepare shipments, and keep materials moving efficiently. You will join Coperion FHN, a Hillenbrand company, at our Whitewater, Wisconsin facility. We design and support advanced processing and materials handling solutions for food, health, and nutrition applications. Your flexibility and attention to detail help ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.

Location: Whitewater, Wisconsin

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • You receive and verify work orders and pull parts from inventory using forklifts or other equipment.
  • You support shipping and receiving activities, including packaging goods and preparing materials for off-site storage.
  • You work with Production Control to help meet required ship dates for customer orders.
  • You count inventory and identify items that need to be reordered or replenished.
  • You help determine proper storage methods based on turnover, space, and facility capabilities.
  • You operate warehouse equipment safely and remain on your feet for extended periods during the workday.
  • You follow plant safety policies and procedures and complete other tasks as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor.

TEAM:

  • You work as part of a receiving and shipping team, floating between tasks as needed to maintain daily performance and key metrics. Your reliability and flexibility help the team WIN AS ONE and support consistent operations at Coperion FHN.

THE EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES NEEDED:

  • One to two years of experience or training in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial work environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate forklifts with training.
  • Comfort performing manual, repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Willingness to stand for long periods of time during the shift.
  • Self-motivated work style with the ability to adapt to different warehouse tasks.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is helpful but not required.
