Job description

Installation Support and Configuration Administrator (Remote)
Reliant Safety, a subsidiary of Paths Management Services, LLC. Reliant Realty was founded in 2009 to provide comprehensive property security and management solutions for the affordable housing market nationwide. Reliant Safety currently maintains and monitors over 30,000 cameras across eleven states, which support approximately 45,000 residential units. The role is a full-time work from home role. Reporting directly to the VP of Security Technology.
Classification: Non-exempt (overtime eligible)
Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Essential Function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with contacting ISP to resolve internet issues.
  • Assist with configuring and auditing settings of camera and access control systems.
  • Assist field personnel with camera/server/network setup and remote support.
    • Configure router to use Static IP and forward ports.
    • Setup/edit TCP/IP settings.
  • Assist with troubleshooting camera/access issues as knowledge base grows.
  • Provide technical training to virtual guards and MRT as needed.
  • Document all standards and procedures.
  • Add/Remove/Modify key fob permissions and facial recognition enrollments as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to quickly learn to use new software tools.
  • Team player ability to work well in a close employee/support environment.
  • Strong background in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of subnets and networking.
  • Knowledge of SQL and C# a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with camera/access control/intercom systems (Hikvision, Vivotek, Axis, Ocularis, S2, Honeywell, Airphone) a plus, but not required.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
