Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud and Infrastructure Security Administrator to join our team at ComResource, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with Microsoft Cloud Technologies, as well as 2-4 years' experience in managing local infrastructure systems, including Windows servers/endpoints, network equipment, and security protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement security measures for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage security tools and technologies, across identity, network, endpoint, and security operations.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts, responding to incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify weaknesses.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures in line with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure secure architecture and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to employees on security best practices and protocols.
  • Remain updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS) environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 environments ensuring seamless collaboration, communication, performance, and security.

  • Strong understanding of Server and Endpoint administration and security.
  • Strong understanding of Network administration and security.
  • Knowledge and experience with MFA, EDR, MDR, SIEM, and SOAR Technologies.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance such as CIS, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, CMMC, etc.
  • Previous experience with ticketing and support solutions.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and management solutions.
  • Experience within an MSP environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA(Network+/Sec+/CySA+/PenTest+), Microsoft(Azure/M365/Security/Server/Endpoint), and Practical Security(TCM - PSAA/PJPT) are advantageous.
