Job description

We are actively seeking Board-Certified Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine Physicians to support increased patient demand during the upcoming cold and flu season. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible scheduling and the ability to provide care to patients nationwide through a leading telehealth platform.
Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual urgent care services to patients of all ages.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common acute and chronic conditions via video visits.
  • Prescribe medications, order laboratory testing, and coordinate referrals as clinically appropriate.
  • Document encounters in Athena EMR.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide clinical oversight and support to Nurse Practitioners in accordance with applicable state regulations.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-residency experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Active and unrestricted U.S. medical license.
  • Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients.
  • Active Medicare enrollment required.
  • Prior telemedicine experience preferred.

Preferred

  • Multiple state licenses
  • Previous telemedicine experience
  • Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
