Software Engineer (Remote | Secret Clearance Required)

Seeking a Senior Java Developer to support and modernize a mission-critical Mobility Air Force Command & Control system. This role will support the migration to AWS GovCloud while ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery through modern cloud-native development practices.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 10+ years without a degree
  • Strong Java development experience
  • Strong AWS and cloud-native engineering experience
  • Experience building and integrating containerized APIs and services
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • DoD or Federal Government experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy enterprise applications and services
  • Support AWS GovCloud migration and cloud modernization initiatives
  • Develop and maintain containerized applications, APIs, and microservices
  • Review, refactor, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and security
  • Create and maintain automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and TestComplete
  • Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes
  • Participate in architecture, design, and Agile planning sessions
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and security requirements

Pay and Benefits
