Job Overview

As a Senior FullStack Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, delivery, and support of modern, cloudnative platforms that enable LPL's business and client experiences. This role involves handson engineering across the full development lifecycle, with opportunities to apply AIassisted development tools to build secure, scalable, and wellarchitected solutions.

You will collaborate with partners across Product, Design, Platform, and Operations, contributing to systems that align with LPL's software development lifecycle (SDLC) and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and support fullstack applications using .NET/C#, Angular, and AWS services.

  • Build and maintain cloudnative, containerized services and serviceoriented APIs.

  • Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to shared standards and implementation practices aligned with LPL SDLC and risk management processes.

  • Partner with Product, Design, Platform, and Operations teams to deliver integrated, reliable solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve applications, development processes, and platform capabilities; contribute to technical documentation and roadmaps.

  • Design and implement REST and gRPC services using ASP.NET Core, applying clean architecture and domaindriven design concepts.

  • Apply resiliency and security patterns such as retry logic, circuit breakers, idempotency, and leastprivilege access.

  • Develop responsive and accessible Angular (v16+) user interfaces, including microfrontend architectures, using RxJS and modern UI patterns.

  • Use AIassisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Chat, Cursor, or CodeWhisperer) to support coding, testing, refactoring, documentation, and reviews.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated quality and security checks.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience building fullstack applications using .NET/C#, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, and relational or NoSQL databases.

  • Experience designing and supporting distributed or serviceoriented systems.

  • Experience developing and deploying solutions on AWS (such as EKS, RDS or Aurora, S3, EventBridge, Athena, or Glue).

  • Experience building ETL processes or data pipelines using structured and unstructured data sources.

  • Experience working across the software development lifecycle, from design through production support.

Pay Range:

$106,100.00 - $176,900.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
