Alluvionic is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager who will conduct processes and procedures as the program office requires. This position shall support the US Marshals Service.

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to pass a background check

Travel is required: Up to 10%

Remote candidates will be considered.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a catalog of services and contacts by collaborating with other local, state, federal, and private agencies
  • Provide research and liaison function for sourcing federal, state, tribal, local, and social service authorities and/or community-based entities regarding victim witness services.
  • Continuously conduct agency needs assessments and analyze results to create and implement effective outreach strategies with various components of the social service system in support of USMS.
  • Establish and conduct annual/bi-annual training in conjunction with SOIB/VMS training approved through the USMS Training Academy.
  • Compile information resources for USMS personnel, including social service and community points of contact.
  • Analyze victim-oriented activities for common problems. Develops methodologies for addressing problems and provides technical assistance and training to SOIB management.
  • Develop procedures, position papers, and decision memoranda, some bearing on complex issues or national impact.
  • Represent USMS at committees, national conferences, and seminars.
  • Responsible for ensuring that USMS staff are provided with the necessary information to maintain compliance with federal victim legislation. 
  • Maintain knowledge and technical expertise for victim witness assistance issues.
  • Assist USMS personnel with preparing written responses to congressional inquiries, Executive branch agencies, and the public.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology
  • Must have nine years of specialized experience in the duties described above.
  • Knowledge of procedures relating to law enforcement agencies and activity, the handling of victims of crime, and the interface of public and private agencies.
  • Knowledge of the procedures of law- enforcement agencies as they relate to the treatment and handling of victims and the required interface with protection agencies.
  • Knowledge of applicable statutes, policies, and procedures for federal victim assistance and the Attorney General's Guidelines on Victim and Witness Assistance.  Ability to assess compliance with statutes, guidelines, or programs.
  • Knowledge of community resources and agencies that serve victims of various types of crime.
  • Knowledge of federal interagency agreements, including reporting and financial requirements.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention, direct victim services, state compensation laws, and state and federal victim notification programs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other professional, federal, state, and local agencies, victims, attorneys, law enforcement personnel, and representatives from non-governmental agencies.
  • Ability to conduct sizable and moderate-scale training seminars, workshops, and meetings with various professionals.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, with rigid deadlines, and under stressful conditions.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
