As a Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, performance, and continuous improvement of WSP's internal network infrastructure and services. This role is ideal for someone energized by operational excellence, proactive optimization, and delivering meaningful impact across a complex, global enterprise IT environment.

Your Impact
You will:
  • Proactively manage and oversee service suppliers and manufacturer activities to ensure alignment with agreed service levels.
  • Establish and maintain standards, processes, and procedures governing the operation of all aspects of network services. 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and provide recommendations to improve service consistency and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure network documentation is accurate, complete, and readily available.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage metrics and KPIs to proactively assess infrastructure performance and capacity.
  • Create, execute, and manage repeatable operational routines that proactively identify improvement opportunities. 
  • Conduct regular scheduled capacity planning and capacity management activities.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified performance, health, or capacity issues.
  • Audit network environments for compliance with established standards. 
  • Support IT regulatory and compliance activities. 
  • Enhance and enforce service transition processes that protect the stability of network operations.
  • Plan and support business continuity testing, reporting, and gap resolution initiatives.
  • Support problem management efforts to resolve recurring infrastructure issues.
  • Contribute to the IT budget process by providing infrastructure and services input and direction. 
  • Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure hardware, software, licenses, and support subscriptions.
  • Own and maintain the integrity of network asset data across all IT platforms. 
  • Evaluate and continuously improve the effectiveness of operational monitoring capabilities. 

The Skills That Set You Apart
You bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 6-8 years of relevant, handson experience in network operations or network improvement/service excellence roles. 
  • Extensive, indepth knowledge of network services and infrastructure.
  • Proven practical experience managing large, complex, multivendor networks including WAN, wired and wireless LAN, perimeter security, SSE, ADC/load balancing, cloud networking, and remote access VPNs.
  • Experience working within an ITILaligned service management organization. 
  • Comfort collaborating across a large, globally distributed enterprise IT environment.
  • Experience with technologies such as SDWAN (HPE Aruba), Microsoft Azure networking, Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), Cisco LAN/WLAN, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancing, and Cisco ISE (preferred).
  • Exposure to network automation and DevOps practices, including tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, GitHub/GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and eventdriven automation services (highly desirable).
  • Excellent written and spoken English, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated experience in information security compliance and secure infrastructure operations.

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $114,600 - $151,800
MB & ON: $104,500 - $143,900
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $103,500 - $137,400
