Description & Requirements
Maximus is currently looking for a Remote Senior Operations Project Analyst. In this position, you will be responsible for leading, training, and mentoring peers in similar role, performing cost benefit analyses on potential changes to existing processes, and working with staff to optimize operational activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience and ability to lead, train and mentor peers in a similar role.
- Incident Management, data capture and communication.
- Project Manage internal engagements and related activities.
- Maintain knowledge and documentation of operational and system processes.
- Perform cost/benefit analyses on potential changes to existing processes.
- Participate in the administration of project and program contract activities, including preparation for internal and external meetings.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define problems and implement solutions.
- Create, review, and present program documents, business and software specifications, process flows, and test cases.
- Document complex program and system needs for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assist in the analysis of data and the specification of report packages for internal and external audiences.
- Work closely with other departments to optimize operational activities.
- Support leadership and product owner and stakeholders on project priorities.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
  • Edits or proofreads material for purpose, clarity, completeness, grammar, and consistency between documents. Revises, rewrites, or reorganizes written materials to ensure conformance with customer requirements as well as corporate standards.
  • Ability to analyze and present technical information to a variety of audiences, including technical experts, management, and the general public.
  • Ensures prepared documents meet editorial and customer specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.
  • Provides project management support and expertise to the CCO Program, may include training and mentoring functional area leads in adherence to established best practices, methods, and standards, and use current tools and templates.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to update or create high-quality program documentation: customer deliverables, plans, presentations, standard operating procedures, metrics/measures, requirements, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible, work in a changing environment, and must be able to handle demands of managing concurrent projects of various size and scope and complete high-quality work.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced degree or professional designation preferred.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of technical writing experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience with 508 compliance is preferred.
  • Experience with CCO program (Medicare and Marketplace) knowledge is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Government contracts is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy is preferred.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint 2010, Smartsheet, Control Center and O365) and Adobe Professional is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and develop business, product, or project plans/schedules is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written* and verbal. Handles confidential information and materials in an appropriate manner.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be flexible and detail oriented while understanding the broader organizational objectives and strategies.
  • Experience creating and/or reviewing and editing documentation such as user guides, technical guides, templates, training materials, program plans, fact sheets, status reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly), etc.
Maximus employees who have completed at least six months in their current position are eligible to apply for a posted position, and any exceptions to the six-month minimum are handled on a case-by-case basis by that specific project.
The six-month time in position rule can be waived for CCO employees under the following circumstances: employees who were in an acting role and have returned to their home base position, employees who are currently in an acting/limited-service role applying to the same role that is RFT, employees who were unable to return to a homebase position at the end of their acting role, or limited-service employees that are unable to secure a lateral or promotional position for continued employment at the end of their limited assignment.
This position is fully remote and will require a home office.
