Client Program Integrity Analytics is a suite of complementary, web-based components that mine provider, member and claims data for potential fraud, waste and abuse; provide software research tools; and track subsequent investigation activity.? The PI Analytics team is comprised of individuals with a variety of technical expertise from databases, business intelligence reporting, and web-based tools.?
The PI team is looking for a data-focused data engineer to quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of fraud, waste and abuse detection software. The analyst should have the ability to collaborate with multiple roles including fellow business analysts, data engineers, software engineers and report developers. This individual will be involved in many phases of an implementation project and/or an operational project and become familiar with the database structures, testing software, ND documentation. This role will be key in the successful implementation of new projects and the maintenance of existing projects.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on expertise in cloud-based data engineering and data warehousing, with a strong emphasis on building scalable and efficient data solutions.
  • 5+ years of focused experience in Snowflake, including the design, development, and maintenance of automated data ingestion workflows using Snowflake SQL procedures and Python scripting.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL Server, and Blob Storage, alongside Snowflake.
  • 2+ years of experience with Python and other scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Azure or Snowflake
  • Experience with data modeling and database design
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Recent experience with medical claims processing systems, including familiarity with core functionalities, workflows, and data structures used in healthcare claims management.
  • Data science and analytics experience.
