As a Senior Project Manager - DOD Projects, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of complex DoD projects while ensuring successful outcomes within budget, schedule, and specification requirements. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead task order proposal development and support Program Managers in project execution
  • Manage project teams (design, technical, and administrative staff) and oversee all project facets through subordinate managers and supervisors
  • Establish project-specific objectives, policies, and deliverables in partnership with Project Directors and Senior Managers
  • Monitor project financials, schedules, and quality standards; report performance metrics to senior leadership
  • Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, and subcontractor performance throughout project lifecycle
  • Coordinate design activities, resolve field-initiated questions, and facilitate design review meetings
  • Maintain client relationships and lead client discussions regarding project scope, terms, and progress
  • Administer projects from budgeting and procurement through contract closeout with significant profit/loss responsibility
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and remote collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Manage services during construction, including RFI responses and submittal reviews
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or engineering plus a minimum of ten years of related experience managing multidisciplinary projects, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Registered Architect or Professional Engineer
  • Experience with DoD projects
  • Experience in developing design reports, drawings, and specifications

     Preferred Qualifications

  • 15 plus years of relevant experience in design management and resolving issues or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience negotiating project scope, fees, managing project financial performance, and ensuring fiscal responsibility for projects through the design process
  • Revit and BIM experience as well as experience in Photoshop, Microsoft Office
  • Support projects within the last 10 years through all phases of design and construction
