Cyber Automation Engineer
The Opportunity:
Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience architecting, implementing, integrating, and managing COTS solutions for hybrid cloud environments
  • 3+ years of experience programming and debugging, shell scripting, application containerization, data storage, and retrieval from a variety of sources
  • 2+ years of experience deploying, hosting, monitoring, and securing solutions for government customers
  • Experience performing systems administration in Windows, Linux, or VMware environments, including performing basic troubleshooting, installation, configuration, monitoring system performance or availability, and performing security upgrades
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting and APIs with their usage for data integration
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification

Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience automating workflows securely with COTS products via RESTful APIs
  • 2+ years of experience integrating Axonius or Armis
  • 2+ years of experience securing solutions in accordance with federal regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Experience supporting federal DoD and intelligence agencies, including supporting large federal programs
  • Experience with APIs and data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and correlate asset data with vulnerability feeds, threat intelligence, and security findings from multiple sources
  • Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies in a scaled enterprise setting
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Ability to provide support in an IT operations and maintenance role, including ticket work information updates, issue response, and remediation
  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
