Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a DevSecOps engineer to join our team and help us solve one of our customer's toughest problems. Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and manage secure virtual and cloud infrastructures
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or other tools to automate the deployment process
* Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or other similar orchestration software
* Implement automated security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
* Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues
* Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to maximize the performance and comprehensiveness of the DevSecOps pipeline
* Create and maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs
* Use DevSecOps methodologies to identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies
* Support the development and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies Qualifications: Required: * Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current TS/SCI with Polygraph
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience in systems engineering
* 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer supporting classified DoW or Intelligence Community operations
* Experience with automated configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools within a CI/CD framework
* Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation, diagnostics, and infrastructure lifecycle management
* Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and STIG compliance requirements
* Experience performing vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Nessus and remediating findings to maintain ATO compliance
* Ability to work effectively in distributed, mission-focused teams and adapt to rapidly changing operational priorities Desired: * Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) in classified environments
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD) supporting automated deployments
* Familiarity with incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for mission-critical systems
* Experience with private or commercial cloud infrastructure supporting classified workloads
* Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+
