Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Second Chance Marriage and Family, Inc., your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to develop accurate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans.
• Working closely with clients to establish therapy goals and engaging in outcome-focused, evidence-based treatment methods, including solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing.
• Implementing behavioral therapies and interventions while monitoring client responses and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal progress.
• Collaborating actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care strategy that addresses both psychological and physical health needs.
• Evaluating client progress continuously and providing feedback to both clients and the multidisciplinary team, making necessary adjustments to treatment approaches.
• Administering and monitoring the adherence to psychotropic medications, in accordance with medical recommendations, focusing on efficacy and client education regarding side effects.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will primarily serve individuals seeking detoxification and rehabilitation services, as well as those experiencing mental health challenges connected to substance use. You'll be working with a diverse clientele that requires empathetic care and individualized approaches. Your role is essential in helping clients navigate their recovery journeys, ensuring they receive the support they need to develop healthier coping mechanisms.

Qualifications

To be considered for this progressive role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license allowing for independent practice in mental health within the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of one year of experience providing therapy and counseling as an independently licensed therapist.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in detox or rehabilitation settings, as well as those familiar with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, will be viewed favorably. Additional certifications in trauma-informed care or similar methodologies are an asset for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
