Job description

Note: We are only open to Individuals who reside in India for this position.

About the Role:

We are looking for a forward-thinking and technical Customer Lifecycle Marketer to act as the pilot for our AI-driven communication strategy. In this dual-focus role, you will oversee our existing AI Outbound Agent to drive customer acquisition, while simultaneously designing new AI agents to automate and personalize our lifecycle retention campaigns.

You will bridge the gap between demand generation, customer retention, and artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate is not just a copywriter or analyst, but an "AI Operator" capable of guiding autonomous agents to deliver human-quality engagement at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

AI-Driven Outbound & Acquisition:

  • Manage the Outbound AI Agent: Act as the primary supervisor for our AI agent that handles outbound marketing. You will monitor its outputs, refine its prompts, and continuously improve its logic to ensure high-quality interactions.

  • Strategic Campaign Execution: Oversee the design and execution of targeted cold email campaigns. While the AI handles the heavy lifting, you will set the strategy and guardrails.

  • List Management & Segmentation: Manage and segment lead lists to ensure the AI agent is targeting the right prospects with the right context.

  • Optimization: Analyze the AI's performance and provide data-driven recommendations to improve its response rates and conversation quality.

Lifecycle Strategy & AI Innovation:

  • Architect Lifecycle Agents: Lead the initiative to build and train new AI agents dedicated to lifecycle marketing. You will design workflows that allow AI to autonomously nurture subscribers through the customer journey.

  • Subscriber Segmentation: Analyze and segment the existing subscriber base to identify key cohorts and determine which segments are best suited for AI-driven vs. static nurturing.

  • Data-Driven Personalization: Utilize tools such as Google BigQuery, Hightouch, and Customer.io to feed clean data to our AI agents, ensuring they have the context needed to hyper-personalize messages.

  • Retention Strategy: Develop strategies to increase retention rates and re-activate churned customers, leveraging AI to detect at-risk signals and intervene automatically.

Optimization, Analysis & Compliance:

  • Performance Reporting: Monitor and analyze campaign performance using key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and goal conversion rates.

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all AI-generated communications comply with email marketing regulations and best practices, acting as the final quality assurance check to prevent "hallucinations" or off-brand messaging.

About You:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in customer lifecycle marketing roles.

  • AI Literacy: You have hands-on experience using AI tools (LLMs, agents, or automation platforms). You understand prompt engineering and how to "guide" an AI model to improve its output over time.

  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel, SQL, and analytical skills to measure agent performance.

  • Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in email platforms (e.g., SmartLead, Customer.io) and data tools (e.g., Hightouch, BigQuery).

  • Writing Chops: Excellent copywriting skills. You know what "good" looks like, so you can train the AI to write like a top-tier marketer.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking are essential when debugging agent behaviors.
