What are remote search fund internships?

Remote search fund internships are structured work experiences where interns assist search fund entrepreneurs or investors with tasks such as market research, deal sourcing, financial analysis, and due diligence, all while working remotely. These internships provide students or recent graduates with hands-on exposure to the search fund model, which involves raising capital to acquire and operate a small business. Interns typically work closely with the search fund principal, gaining direct insight into entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA), investment analysis, and the acquisition process. The remote aspect allows interns to participate regardless of their location, making these opportunities accessible to a wider range of candidates.
