Job description

Role
We are looking for a Port Operations Specialist to join our Itinerary & Destinations department. This role is key to supporting the administrative tasks of the Port Operations team, ensuring all port, vendor, and financial information is updated and available across the organization.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Port Operations, this position will provide primary support to the department. This is a remote position, with the ideal candidate located in Europe.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze all needed documents for the Port Agency Biddings, from preparing documentation, analyzing proposals and preparing presentations for management review. Keep track of the validity status of signed contracts and maintain vendor information updated across all systems.
  • Issue and follow up of berth requests, maintaining the status updated in all systems and formats. Actively communicate in case of any booking conflicts. Maintain updated booking policies for all destination ports, including berth cancellation costs.
  • Support in the Itinerary Design process and serve as a deputy point of contact when assistance is required.
  • Support the Port Costs Forecast process, from collecting local port costs to creating Forecasts in internal systems.
  • Coordinate, collect, verify and maintain updated Port Technical Data in all required systems and formats.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for port-related queries across the organization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Hospitality, Logistics, Tourism, or related field) or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in cruise or shore operations, destination management, or related.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written) across multicultural, cross-functional environments.
  • Organizational, project management and analytical skills, together with a solution oriented and adaptable mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with dashboards or BI tools a plus.
